Peace. Welcome to The Upperground Community / Network, a non-profit collaborative website built for connecting Positive, Progressive, and Purposeful Urban Culture (read more) in the Southern California Region (LA, OC, SD).

Here's two quick ways to connect and get involved:

GET A PROFILE: Start representin' yourself (or your crew) in the areas of DJing  / Emceeing / Graff / Breaking / etc. Regardless of the location, venue, affiliation, we're about supporting the community as one, bringing diversity together.

GET INVOLVED LOCALLY: We're about serving the Hip Hop community through the tools this site provides (calendars, searchable profiles, forums), because this site is by you - It's not about business, one venue, or a certain artist. We provide an alternative to worldly Hip Hop and activate this art form for social progression by focusing on what matters first that we all have in common, soul.

We're doing this for the love of the culture and not for the money (no banners). We're also trying to keep it as open as possible to those who want to do the same.
