Brief History: Established in 1992. City Lights began as a simple commitment of one man's obedience to call of God. Seeing a need to bring and provide a safe haven as well as a vehicle for the Word of God to inner city kids, Director/Pastor Chris Swaim has dedicated his life to lift up this cause. Located at 1215 North Ross Street in downtown Santa Ana, City Lights has grown rapidly and has earned the respect of the community that serves.

What started out as a small gathering of two or three has grown into a full-time responsibility. City Lights offers programs for kids to get involved along with an opportunity to learn the word of God. One successful program was initiated with a soccer clinic, over 500 kids became involved and the program grew to the point where a league it was formed. Our latest program was just recently completed and is enjoying overwhelming response. City Lights Skate Park and Dreams Center is currently hosting clinics to teach inner city kids the benefits involved in the skating world. Pastor Chris, along with the support and contacts of his nephew professional skater Christian Hosoi, has built an entire skate park in the lot behind the Ross Street building.

As we continue to grow and bringing troubled youth into an environment of love and concern, we do ask that you consider supporting our efforts in any way. Of course our financial needs are many but opportunities to exist to support and teach these children the word of God in many areas.
