Author Review: Lyrics: Emcees Ohmega Watts, Othello, and Braille all have different styles of wordplay and rhyme delivery making the group largely dynamic. Ohmega is more balanced, Othello is melodic and fast, and Braille is strong and rough. You can see this most clearly on each one's short solo track. They are unified harmonizing on hooks, but "Jurassic 5" they aren't, and sometimes that falls flat. Beats: Munshine's beats come off well selected and strongly based on looped breaks that are true to their origin. This can be repetitive at times, but because of the lyrical word play and the fact these are well chosen breaks, tracks come off as well balanced and cohesive. Conscious: Lightheaded fills their tracks with lots of hints to scripture and many statements of Christian views. Within the lyrics, these are well stated within themes of each track and don't feel forced while also being insightful weather or not you agree on their world perspective. Since things are mostly on a positive point, the overall feel of the album is definitely uplifting. | Author's Review | | | | | Average user rating | Average user rating from: 1 users
