Points, Thoughts, and Stories is a long-time project of Offbeat and NonEuclidean. Striving to make a project that is both artistically excellent and thematically relevant to both Christians and nonChristians alike, the MC/producers prayerfully spent well over a year writing, planning, recording, and creating Points, Thoughts, and Stories. The result is an album that spans many different Hip-Hop styles: Traditional, Philosophical, Theological, Personal, Story Telling, Vocal Harmonies, Lyrical back-and-forths, and innovative DJing. For a suggested donation of $6.50 and a minimum donation of $1.50 to cover shipping and handling, you get over 70 minutes of music and 19 tracks (plus, a hidden track). You can also get the album in many stores for $5.00 and at our shows for any donation. Since the goal of SoberMinded is to glorify God and edify man, the artists decided to make the project a nonprofit album. For samples of the album, listen to the five tracks on this page.
Critics:
"Easily among the best independent and underground hip-hop releases of the year. It pushes intellectual and moral points while remaining relevant to people of any or every religion. I'd love to take a couple days and write a full review on it, but am way too tied up with all the music we're getting nowadays. Either way, this is a permanent fixture on my iPod, so I highly recommend checking it out whether or not you're a fan of christian rap..." Read Entire HipHopLinguistics.com Review
"In the end, SoberMinded reminds us that Christian rap is not a cheesy alternative, but fulfilling and skillful hip-hop music that places purpose and meaning above material goods. With a more acoustic approach production-wise, the rappers/producers provide an overall optimistic perspective on life and successfully relate the teachings of Christianity to modern issues. While, content-wise, it is not for everyone, anyone can appreciate the chemistry between the two MCs and their lyrical abilities. It is an album worth hearing and provides easy transition from mainstream to more "spiritually minded" music.

"This is one of the types of albums that I envision when I talk about Christian rap, an album that speaks to more than just the Bible, but society at large & how we can put Christ in it. Points, Thoughts, and Stories is a solid album, and a definite pick-up for those who like music that makes you put on your thinking cap." Read the Entire Sphere of Hip-Hop Review here.
"The album consists of nice instrumentals and a mixture of west coast and alternative Hip Hop. Noneuclidean and Offbeat both provide very positive raps and their lyrical content is very poetic and they demonstrate that in each track the art of story telling and opinons." "Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ"

Noneuclidean has been playing music for 10 years, starting with the guitar at age 15. For several years he played in the indie rock band called the "Hong Kong Kavaliers." After unsuccessfully trying to forge new ground in Rock, the band changed their name, and their approach. Shroudur, whose instrumental E.P. "Beats to Sleep By" is considered the best work of the band, lasted for only a year or two. At that point the band morphed yet again into "The Sandpeople", a hip-hop collaboration with sPeak and Ofcelfe from L.F.T.B. (which they had joined back in the Shroudur days). No official release ever came from "The Sandpeople", although they did record some songs, one of which did make it on a L.F.T.B. compilation. During this time, Noneuclidean released a solo album. After the Sandpeople fell apart, Noneuclidean stopped making music, save for a few beats, and focused on school. In 2004, Noneuclidean and Offbeat discussed the fact that there was little good Christian Hip-Hop to listen to. Knowing that they would probably only make more wack Christian music but desiring to do something about the problem, they decided to make a song together and see how it sounded. As it turned out, they liked how they worked together and thus decided to work on a project.

And his solo and worship music project here.
Offbeat has been writing rap lyrics for about 9 years and is just starting to sound tolerable. He took an interest in making beats about 6 years ago & that ability of his, as well, is still under construction. Offbeat met Noneuclidean through L.ife F.or T.he B.etter but really started to connect and do music with him through a small bible study group they both began attending. They are both works in progress spiritually & this will show in their music, but this project is where they are presently & they hope God might somehow use it in the lives of its hearers.
