Orange County Youth Commission
After School Programs
The Orange County Youth Commission serves inner-city children and youth in Orange County. We provide after-school clubs at public school sites, teen sports programs at neighborhood sport centers, and high-energy inspirational teen entertainment events.

The Orange County Youth Commission’s after-school programs, including our teen boxing program, The Santa Ana Boxing Club, are supported by generous donors and provided free of charge for the young people in these low-income communities. All gifts are tax-deductible.

Our after-school M.A.D. Clubs (Making a Difference Clubs) meet once a week at public school sites in Orange County’s low-income neighborhood
Each club provides:
-
Academic Tutoring
-
Structured Sports
-
Character Education
Our clubs are staffed by volunteer mentors who enjoy assisting with homework, coaching a sport, or teaching a character lesson.
The Orange County Youth Commission teaches America's traditional Judeo-Christian values using lessons that teach eight character traits: respect, responsibility, integrity, initiative, forgiveness, cooperation, beginnings, and compassion.
Lessons provide examples from the lives of historical heroes and biblical characters.

Our volunteers provide excellent role models and assist in character development throughout the club time. We measure success by a changed life.
